The Consortium’s work aims to use knowledge about gender and security to end armed conflicts and build sustainable international peace. They seek to further the development of new knowledge on the topics of gender, armed conflict and security, while also bridging the gap between the scholarly research community and policy makers. With a stronger, international, collaboration between scholars and policy practitioners, we believe that lasting and peaceful change can be sustained.
