TurnUp
TurnUp was launched on a mission to strengthen democracy by increasing high impact youth civic action and closing the gap between young people who want to take civic action and those who actually take action. The goal is to increase youth voter registration and turnout, and build the most active, educated, organized, and powerful network of young progressive activists across the Nation.
TurnUp is now the largest and fastest-growing coalition of youth turnout advocates united by a shared commitment to increase youth voter registration and turnout at the polls by fully investing in young people, removing systemic barriers to civic participation, and amplifying formidable voices.
Distressed Children & Infants International
DCI is working towards a future where all children have a chance at a dignified and successful life. They believe education is the key to ending poverty cycle, stopping child labor and early marriage. They provide education, healthcare, and skill development opportunities to youth and their families in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Nicaragua so they can thrive and lift up themselves, their families and communities. DCI also seeks to connect privileged children to less fortunate disadvantaged children in the United States as well as in other countries around the world, educating them about the challenges they are facing. Thus developing their empathy and responsibilities and inspiring them to take leadership in humanitarian causes; in this way we hope to nurture responsible and compassionate world citizens and future leaders.
