Be (A)Part is a youth-led, scientist-engaged mentoring program in Connecticut.

Dodd Human Rights Impact

*In 2020, the Dodd Center’s human rights outreach and engagement programs joined the Human Rights Institute at Dodd Human Rights Impact.

Dodd Human Rights Impact fosters a culture of human rights at UConn, in Connecticut, and around the world. Today, the Dodd Center houses the University Library’s Archives & Special Collections, the Center for Judaic Studies & Contemporary Jewish Life and the Human Rights Institute, and hosts exhibitions, events, and other activities for the campus community and broader public.

 

Migrant Alliance and Partnership (MAP) Network

The Migrant Alliance and Partnership Network (MAP Network) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to strengthen and connect migrant service providers in the Greater Boston area. MAP Network’s primary work includes connecting service providers, conducting research, and creating tools and resources. Acting as a networking platform and information hub for migrant service providers in the Boston area, the organization aims to help coordinate, strengthen, and bring together the vast and varying services offered by our network members. Our organization works with service providers, academics, students, and researchers to help identify and offer resources for the most pressing issues facing service providers and migrants in the greater Boston area.

Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights

The Consortium’s work aims to use knowledge about gender and security to end armed conflicts and build sustainable international peace. They seek to further the development of new knowledge on the topics of gender, armed conflict and security, while also bridging the gap between the scholarly research community and policy makers. With a stronger, international, collaboration between scholars and policy practitioners, we believe that lasting and peaceful change can be sustained.

Feminist Majority Foundation

The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women’s equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. FMF engages in research and public policy development, public education programs, grassroots organizing projects, leadership training and development programs, and participates in and organizes forums on issues of women’s equality and empowerment. Our sister organization, the Feminist Majority, engages in lobbying and other direct political action, pursuing equality through legislative avenues.

Family Services Center for Victim Safety and Support

Founded in 1879, Family Services brings people together to find the support they need, improving their lives and communities, and building a stronger, safer Hudson Valley. Their program areas include Behavioral Health, Victim Services, Family Programs, Youth Services, Community Safety, and Prevention. Last year, over 14,000 children, adults, and families benefited from Family Services programs in Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties.

UConn African American Cultural Center

The AACC is committed to promoting cultural preservation, leadership development, academic excellence, and intercultural communication through programs and activities that are designed to give students an appreciation and an understanding of the heritage and cultural experiences of African Americans and people of African descent in the United States and throughout the world.
