The Human Rights Summit at The Dodd Center for Human Rights brings together scholars, activists, policymakers, artists, and business leaders from across the world to examine the key human rights challenges of our time and generate new ideas to promote global justice and human dignity. Through a mix of high-profile lectures, practical workshops, and roundtable discussions, the Human Rights Summit will serve as a critical venue for sharing insights, building relationships, and inspiring action.
20th Anniversary Conference
March 29-31, 2023 • Storrs, CT
To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are convening an international conference March 29-31, 2023 at UConn's Storrs campus, showcasing the thematic foci of HRI’s research and practice clusters. The conference will convene more than 40 speakers over the course of three days with panels that address themes central to the work of our research and practice clusters. This conference will continue its tradition, drawing scholars and practitioners from around the world to renew ongoing conversations and to inspire new ones about the latest challenges in the field.
