Maxwell Switz

Academic Advising Liaison


Maxwell Switz is the Academic Advising Liaison at the Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute as well as a Master of Social Work student at the University of Connecticut. Max earned his BA in Psychology from UConn in 2022. His past work experience includes working at American Ambulance and the Root Center for Advanced Recovery. Through these experiences Max has found that he has a passion for working with individuals through a human rights lens. He believes that to work with any individual there needs to be a non-hierarchical approach that promotes respect, dignity and worth. In his current role, Max practices a holistic approach to advising that prioritizes relationship building, robust support, and empowerment.
