Alex Branzell

Events & Communications Coordinator, Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute

Alex Branzell is a Connecticut native with a passion for social policy. He supports the HRI team on communications, events, and research initiatives. Alex values the interdisciplinary and collaborative orientation of the global human rights community, with a primary focus on migration, inequality, and demography in his own work. 

Prior to joining the Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute, Alex worked for the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights, the United Nations, the U.S. Department of State, and Human Rights Campaign. He holds a MSc in International Social & Public Policy from the London School of Economics. Outside of UConn, Alex is an avid rock-climber, swimmer, and motorcyclist.
