Elizabeth Holzer Part of Research Team to Receive $4.3 million NSF Grant

Assistant professor (Sociology and Human Rights) Elizabeth Holzer is part of a multi-disciplinary research team led by Engineering professor Manos Anagnostou that received a $4.3 million grant from the National Science Foundation. In this innovative collaboration, engineers will develop a forecasting system to serve farmers and regional water managers. At the same time, Holzer will lead a team of social scientists to investigate local decision-making processes to foster more effective management of land and water resources.
