Current Graduate Reading / Research Groups:

    The Human Rights Institute Graduate Reading / Research Groups are one of the ongoing initiatives at the Human Rights Institute. Students with shared interests in a specific theme or geographic area meet once a month to discuss human rights readings or to work on research. If you are interested in joining one of the groups below or starting a new group, please contact alyssa.webb@uconn.edu.

    Past Graduate Reading / Research Group topics have included: conflict, cooperation, and justice; immigration and citizenship; economic rights; human rights in Latin America, women and children’s rights, social work and human rights; narrative in human rights.
